ਜਨਮ 26 ਸਤੰਬਰ 1820 ਨੂੰ ਬੀਰਸਿੰਘਾ, ਬੰਗਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੈਜ਼ੀਡੈਂਸੀ (ਹੁਣ ਪੱਛਮੀ ਬੰਗਾਲ, ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ) ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
