Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla appointed as Brand Ambassador of the Centre's 'Viksit Bharat Buildathon'
- The Viksit Bharat Buildathon is organized by the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission and NITI Aayog.
- It aims to encourage students in grades 6 through 12 to develop innovative solutions and prototypes for real-world issues.
- Themes: The Buildathon focuses on four themes that align with the vision for a developed India: Atmanirbhar Bharat, Swadeshi, Vocal for Local, and Samriddhi.
- He will serve as an inspiration for students to participate in this nationwide innovation challenge.
- He is recognized as the first Indian to visit the International Space Station (ISS) and the second Indian to travel to space, following Rakesh Sharma in 1984.
- His space journey was part of the Axiom-4 mission, a commercial spaceflight supported by ISRO and NASA.
- ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਭਾਰਤ ਬਿਲਡਥੌਨ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਅਟਲ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਨੀਤੀ ਆਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
- ਇਸ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਗ੍ਰੇਡ 6 ਤੋਂ 12 ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਲ-ਸੰਸਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਨਵੀਨਤਾਕਾਰੀ ਹੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਟੋਟਾਈਪ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।
- ਥੀਮ: ਬਿਲਡਥੌਨ ਚਾਰ ਥੀਮਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਕੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ: ਆਤਮਨਿਰਭਰ ਭਾਰਤ, ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ੀ, ਵੋਕਲ ਫਾਰ ਲੋਕਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧੀ।
- ਉਹ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਵਿਆਪੀ ਇਨੋਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਚੈਲੇਂਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
- ਉਹ 1984 ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਕੇਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ (ਆਈਐਸਐਸ) ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੈ।
- ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਐਕਸੀਓਮ -4 ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਸੀ, ਜੋ ਇਸਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਸਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਮਰਥਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਵਪਾਰਕ ਪੁਲਾੜ ਉਡਾਣ ਸੀ।
