Gujarat Approves Indian AI Research Organisation at GIFT City/ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਨੇ ਗਿਫਟ ਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਏਆਈ ਖੋਜ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ
- Bhupendra Patel, Chief Minister of Gujarat, has granted in-principle approval for the establishment of the Indian AI Research Organisation (IAIRO) to strengthen research and development in artificial intelligence.
- The organisation will be set up under a tripartite collaboration involving the State Government, the Central Government, and the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA).
- IAIRO will be operationalised as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) at GIFT City, near Gandhinagar, from 1 January, and will be registered as a non-profit entity under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013.
- The project aligns with the objectives of the India AI Mission of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
- ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭੂਪੇਂਦਰ ਪਟੇਲ ਨੇ ਆਰਟੀਫੀਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੋਜ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤੀ AI ਖੋਜ ਸੰਗਠਨ (IAIRO) ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਲਈ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨਗੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
- ਸੰਗਠਨ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰ, ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ, ਅਤੇ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਫਾਰਮਾਸਿਊਟੀਕਲ ਅਲਾਇੰਸ (IPA) ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਤਿਕੋਣੀ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
- IAIRO 1 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਗਾਂਧੀਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ, GIFT ਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਾਹਨ (SPV) ਵਜੋਂ ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਐਕਟ, 2013 ਦੇ ਸੈਕਸ਼ਨ 8 ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਗੈਰ-ਲਾਭਕਾਰੀ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਰਜਿਸਟਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
- ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਾਨਿਕਸ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ (MeitY) ਦੇ ਇੰਡੀਆ AI ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਲ ਖਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
