INS Nistar Joins Exercise Pacific Reach 2025 in Singapore / ਆਈ ਐੱਨ ਐੱਸ ਨਿਸਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਕਸਰਸਾਈਜ਼ ਪੈਸਿਫਿਕ ਰੀਚ 2025 ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਇਆ
- INS Nistar was commissioned on 18 Jul 2025.
- It was developed by Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Visakhapatnam, under the Ministry of Defence’s ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative
- Exercise Pacific Reach 2025 (XPR25) is a multinational submarine rescue exercise hosted by Singapore, taking place from September 15 to 29, 2025, in the South China Sea.
- This biennial event aims to enhance global interoperability and readiness in submarine rescue operations.
- Indian Navy’s latest indigenously designed and constructed Diving Support Vessel (DSV) INS Nistar is participating § The exercise will witness participation of more than 40 nations.
- ਆਈਐੱਨਐੱਸ ਨਿਸਤਾਰ ਨੂੰ 18 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2025 ਨੂੰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
- ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੀ 'ਆਤਮਨਿਰਭਰ ਭਾਰਤ' ਪਹਿਲ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨ ਸ਼ਿਪਯਾਰਡ ਲਿਮਿਟਿਡ, ਵਿਸ਼ਾਖਾਪਟਨਮ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ
- ਐਕਸਰਸਾਈਜ਼ ਪੈਸੀਫਿਕ ਰੀਚ 2025 (ਐਕਸਪੀਆਰ 25) ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁ-ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪਣਡੁੱਬੀ ਬਚਾਅ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨੀ ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਚੀਨ ਸਾਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ 15 ਤੋਂ 29 ਸਤੰਬਰ, 2025 ਤੱਕ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
- ਇਸ ਦੋ-ਸਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਪਣਡੁੱਬੀ ਬਚਾਅ ਕਾਰਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਅੰਤਰ-ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ।
- ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਨਵੀਨਤਮ ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਡਾਈਵਿੰਗ ਸਪੋਰਟ ਵੈਸਲ (ਡੀਐਸਵੀ) ਆਈਐਨਐਸ ਨਿਸਤਾਰ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ § ਅਭਿਆਸ ਵਿੱਚ 40 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੇਸ਼ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣਗੇ।
