Indian Army to Procure First Indigenously Manufactured Software Defined Radios / ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਨਿਰਮਿਤ ਸਾਫਟਵੇਅਰ ਪਰਿਭਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਰੇਡੀਓ ਖਰੀਦੇਗੀ
- The Indian Army is set to acquire its initial quantity of domestically developed Software Defined Radios (SDRs).
- Designed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)
- Manufactured by Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL).
- Equipped with high data rates and Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) capabilities.
- A Software Defined Radio (SDR) is a wireless communication system where components that have traditionally been implemented in analog hardware (such as mixers, filters, modulators, and demodulators) are instead implemented by means of software on a computer or an embedded system.
- ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਸਾਫਟਵੇਅਰ ਡਿਫਾਈਨਡ ਰੇਡੀਓ (ਐਸਡੀਆਰ) ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਮਾਤਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ।
