EXERCISE MITRA SHAKTI-2025
The 11th edition of Exercise Mitra Shakti 2025, a bilateral joint military drill between India and Sri Lanka, commenced today at the Foreign Training Node in Belagavi, Karnataka. Running from 10 to 23 November 2025, the exercise aims to enhance interoperability, share best practices in counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism operations in semi-urban and urban environments, and strengthen defense cooperation between the two nations.
