• ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ "ਪੀਏਟੀਏ ਬੈਸਟ ਸਸਟੇਨੇਬਿਲਿਟੀ ਇਨੀਸ਼ੀਏਟਿਵ ਅਵਾਰਡ" ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਚੈਪਟਰ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਥਿਰਤਾ, ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ, ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਅਤੇ ਟੂਰਿਜ਼ਮ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
