• Sangam Kumar Sahoo has taken oath as the Chief Justice of the Patna High Court.
• The oath  was administered by Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan.
• He was elevated as a Judge of the Orissa High Court on July 2, 2014.
• Suryastra is India’s first indigenous universal multi-calibre long-range rocket launcher system, capable of carrying out precision surface-to-surface strikes at ranges of 150 km and 300 km.
• The system is designed to integrate multiple types of rockets and missiles on a single launch platform.
• ਸੰਗਮ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਸਾਹੂ ਨੇ ਪਟਨਾ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਜੱਜ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਹੁੰ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ।
• ਸਹੁੰ ਬਿਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਆਰਿਫ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਚੁਕਾਈ।
• ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 2 ਜੁਲਾਈ, 2014 ਨੂੰ ਉੜੀਸਾ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਜੱਜ ਵਜੋਂ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।
• ਸੂਰਿਆਸਤਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਲ ਮਲਟੀ-ਕੈਲੀਬਰ ਲੰਬੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਦਾ ਰਾਕੇਟ ਲਾਂਚਰ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਹੈ, ਜੋ 150 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਅਤੇ 300 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਰੇਂਜ 'ਤੇ ਸਤ੍ਹਾ ਤੋਂ ਸਤ੍ਹਾ 'ਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੈ।
• ਇਹ ਸਿਸਟਮ ਇੱਕ ਸਿੰਗਲ ਲਾਂਚ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ 'ਤੇ ਕਈ ਕਿਸਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਕੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਜ਼ਾਈਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
