The INSPIRE Award – MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge) is a flagship initiative by the Department of Science & Technology (DST).
Aimed at fostering creativity and innovation among students of classes 6 to 10.
Top 60 ideas are displayed in the Rashtrapati Bhavan and the President himself confers national awards and honours on the children.
ਇੰਸਪਾਇਰ ਅਵਾਰਡ-ਮਾਨਕ (ਮਿਲੀਅਨ ਮਾਈਂਡਸ ਔਗਮੈਂਟਿੰਗ ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਐਸਪੀਰੇਸ਼ਨਜ਼ ਐਂਡ ਨਾਲੇਜ) ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਟੈਕਨੋਲੋਜੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ (ਡੀਐੱਸਟੀ) ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਪਹਿਲ ਹੈ।
6ਵੀਂ ਤੋਂ 10ਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਜਣਾਤਮਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਹੈ।
ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੇ 60 ਵਿਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਖੁਦ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
