• Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced that Mohanlal, the renowned Malayalam actor, will be conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2023.
• This prestigious honor recognizes his exceptional contributions to Indian cinema over more than four decades.
• The Dadasaheb Phalke Award will be formally presented during the 71st National Film Awards ceremony on September 23, 2025, in New Delhi.
• It was awarded for the first time to Devika Rani, “the first lady of Indian cinema”.

• ਇਹ ਵੱਕਾਰੀ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਚਾਰ ਦਹਾਕਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੇਮਿਸਾਲ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
• ਦਾਦਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਫਾਲਕੇ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਰਸਮੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ 23 ਸਤੰਬਰ, 2025 ਨੂੰ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ 71ਵੇਂ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਫਿਲਮ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
• ਇਹ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ "ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਔਰਤ" ਦੇਵਿਕਾ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
