THEME  - "Sustainable Development of the Global Teak Sector – Adapting to Future Markets and Environments"

While World Teak Conference was held in Kochi in 2025, it was the 5th edition,. It was, however, the first time India hosted the conference.

Kerala Forest Research Institute (KFRI) coordinated by the International Teak Information Network (TEAKNET)

 Kerala was a fitting host, as the state is home to the world's oldest teak plantation in Nilambur.

• ਕੇਰਲ ਜੰਗਲਾਤ ਖੋਜ ਸੰਸਥਾ (ਕੇਐਫਆਰਆਈ) ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਟੀਕ ਇਨਫਰਮੇਸ਼ਨ ਨੈਟਵਰਕ (ਟੀਏਕੇਐਨਈਟੀ) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ
• ਰਾਜ ਨੀਲਮਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਸਾਗਵਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੌਦੇ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਹੈ।
