• ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਦਾ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
• ਐਨਐਸਐਸ 24 ਸਤੰਬਰ, 1969 ਨੂੰ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਸ਼ਤਾਬਦੀ ਸਾਲ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
• ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਦਾ ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਵਾਕ "ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ" ਹੈ
• ਐਨਐਸਐਸ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ, ਯੁਵਾ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਹੈ।
• ਇਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ 11ਵੀਂ ਅਤੇ 12ਵੀਂ ਜਮਾਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਕ ਸੇਵਾ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
