• The Hnahthial district of Mizoram has been ranked as the top district among the 121 districts of the eight northeastern states in achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets. 
• The North Eastern Region (NER) District Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Index Report (2023-24) was prepared by the NITI Aayog in collaboration with the Ministry of Development of the North Eastern Region.
• The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in India provided technical support in preparing the report.
• ਮਿਜ਼ੋਰਮ ਦੇ ਹਨਾਹਥਿਆਲ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਟਿਕਾਊ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਟੀਚਿਆਂ (ਐਸਡੀਜੀ) ਟੀਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਠ ਉੱਤਰ-ਪੂਰਬੀ ਰਾਜਾਂ ਦੇ 121 ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੋਟੀ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਰਜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। 
• ਅਰੁਣਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਲੋਂਗਡਿੰਗ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ 121ਵੇਂ ਸਥਾਨ 'ਤੇ ਹੈ।
• ਉੱਤਰ-ਪੂਰਬੀ ਖੇਤਰ (ਐਨਈਆਰ) ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਟਿਕਾਊ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਟੀਚੇ (ਐਸਡੀਜੀ) ਸੂਚਕ ਅੰਕ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ (2023-24) ਨੀਤੀ ਆਯੋਗ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ-ਪੂਰਬੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
• ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ (ਯੂ.ਐੱਨ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ.) ਨੇ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ।
