• Punjab has become the first state in India to offer every household an annual cashless health insurance cover of ₹10 lakh.
• Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party’s National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal jointly announced the scheme, aimed at revolutionizing healthcare accessibility across the state.
• Under Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna  scheme, all 65 lakh families in Punjab will be entitled to free treatment for all diseases in both government and empanelled private hospitals.
•  The scheme will also extend full coverage to government employees, anganwadi workers, and ASHA workers.
• Every resident of Punjab will receive a "Mukhyamantri Sehat Card," ensuring fully cashless treatment at eligible hospitals across the state.
• ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੂਬਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 10 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਾ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਨਕਦੀ ਰਹਿਤ ਸਿਹਤ ਬੀਮਾ ਕਵਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
• ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਕਨਵੀਨਰ ਅਰਵਿੰਦ ਕੇਜਰੀਵਾਲ ਨੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਸੂਬੇ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ ਲਿਆਉਣਾ ਹੈ।
• ਇਸ ਨਵੀਂ ਸਕੀਮ ਤਹਿਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ 65 ਲੱਖ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਚੀਬੱਧ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਮੁਫਤ ਇਲਾਜ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਦਾਰ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
•  ਇਹ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆਂ, ਆਂਗਣਵਾੜੀ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਸ਼ਾ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਵਰੇਜ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।
• ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਵਸਨੀਕ ਨੂੰ "ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਕਾਰਡ" ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜੋ ਸੂਬੇ ਭਰ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹਸਪਤਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਕਦੀ ਰਹਿਤ ਇਲਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਏਗਾ।
