A new report from SBI Research shows that India added $297 billion to the world economy in FY25, making up 6.7% of global GDP growth.

 Of this, the State Bank of India (SBI) alone contributed $44 billion, or 1.1% of the total global increase.

This highlights SBI’s strong role in India’s and the world’s economic growth.

ਐਸਬੀਆਈ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਨਵੀਂ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਾਲ 2025 ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਆਰਥਿਕਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ 297 ਬਿਲੀਅਨ ਡਾਲਰ ਦਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜੋ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਜੀਡੀਪੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦਾ 6.7٪ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ।

 ਇਸ 'ਚ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਸਟੇਟ ਬੈਂਕ ਆਫ ਇੰਡੀਆ (ਐੱਸ. ਬੀ. ਆਈ.) ਨੇ 44 ਅਰਬ ਡਾਲਰ ਦਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਜੋ ਕੁੱਲ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਵਾਧੇ ਦਾ 1.1 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਇਹ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਦੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਸਬੀਆਈ ਦੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

• The Indian economy is likely to grow by 6.4% to 6.7% in the financial year 2025-26. This good news comes from Rajiv Memani, the new president of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
• Mr. Memani believes that strong domestic demand, a good monsoon forecast, and more money in the market will help the economy grow steadily.
• According to him, one of the big reasons for this hopeful growth is a recent move by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). 
• The RBI has reduced something called the Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR) by 100 basis points.

• ਆਰ.ਬੀ.ਆਈ. ਨੇ ਨਕਦ ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵ ਅਨੁਪਾਤ (ਸੀ.ਆਰ.ਆਰ.) ਨਾਮਕ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ 100 ਬੇਸਿਸ ਪੁਆਇੰਟ ਘਟਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।

• Policy repo rate unchanged at 5.5% and retained its neutral stance even as it maintained growth forecast for FY26 at 6.5% and lowered inflation projection to 3.1% from its earlier estimate of 3.7%.

• This move is in line with a Reserve Bank of India (RBI) directive, issued through a circular on April 22, 2025, aimed at strengthening cybersecurity within the banking sector.
• This shift to a dedicated and secure domain aims to enhance protection against online frauds, phishing attacks, and other cyber threats, while also building greater trust in digital banking services for customers.
• The '.bank.in' domain is exclusively reserved for banks, making it more difficult for fraudsters to create fake websites and deceive customers
