Indian Army Conducts 'Amogh Fury' Firepower Exercise in Thar Desert / ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਨੇ ਥਾਰ ਰੇਗਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ 'ਅਮੋਘ ਫਿਊਰੀ' ਫਾਇਰਪਾਵਰ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਕੀਤਾ

  • The Indian Army’s Sapta Shakti Command recently conducted a high-intensity Integrated Firepower Exercise named ‘Amogh Fury’ at the Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan’s Thar Desert.
  • This large-scale drill was designed to test and demonstrate the Army’s ability to execute multi-domain operations using cutting-edge technologies and coordinated combat platforms.
  • Objectives:
  • •   Simulate real-time battle scenarios under harsh desert conditions
  • •   Enhance interoperability between ground and air assets
  • •   Refine decision-making and coordination across units
  • •   Prepare for high-tempo conflicts along India’s western front
  • ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੀ ਸਪਤ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਕਮਾਂਡ ਨੇ ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਦੇ ਥਾਰ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਾਜਨ ਫੀਲਡ ਫਾਇਰਿੰਗ ਰੇਂਜ ਵਿੱਚ 'ਅਮੋਘ ਫਿਊਰੀ' ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਉੱਚ-ਤੀਬਰਤਾ ਵਾਲਾ ਇੰਟੀਗ੍ਰੇਟਿਡ ਫਾਇਰਪਾਵਰ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਕੀਤਾ।
  • ਇਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੀ ਡਰਿੱਲ ਅਤਿ-ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੜਾਕੂ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਮਲਟੀ-ਡੋਮੇਨ ਓਪਰੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੀ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

  • • ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾਈ ਅਸਾਸਿਆਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਅੰਤਰ-ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ।

  • Decision taken at the Combined Commanders’ Conference (CCC) 2025 in Kolkata.
  • The education wings of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force will be merged into a single unified body, called the Tri-Services Education Corps.
  • Purpose: Increase jointness, reduce duplication, optimize infrastructure & administration, and improve resource utilisation across all three services.

  • Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) has officially handed over ICGS Akshar, the second Fast Patrol Vessel (FPV) in the Adamya-class series, to the Indian Coast Guard.
  • The Adamya-class consists of eight FPVs ordered from GSL. Akshar is the second in this series

INS Nistar Joins Exercise Pacific Reach 2025 in Singapore / ਆਈ ਐੱਨ ਐੱਸ ਨਿਸਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਕਸਰਸਾਈਜ਼ ਪੈਸਿਫਿਕ ਰੀਚ 2025 ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਇਆ

  • INS Nistar was commissioned on 18 Jul 2025.
  • It was developed by Hindustan Shipyard Limited, Visakhapatnam, under the Ministry of Defence’s ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative
  • Exercise Pacific Reach 2025 (XPR25) is a multinational submarine rescue exercise hosted by Singapore, taking place from September 15 to 29, 2025, in the South China Sea.
  • This biennial event aims to enhance global interoperability and readiness in submarine rescue operations.
  •  Indian Navy’s latest indigenously designed and constructed Diving Support Vessel (DSV) INS Nistar is participating § The exercise will witness participation of more than 40 nations.
  • ਆਈਐੱਨਐੱਸ ਨਿਸਤਾਰ ਨੂੰ 18 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2025 ਨੂੰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

  •  ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਨਵੀਨਤਮ ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਣਾਏ ਗਏ ਡਾਈਵਿੰਗ ਸਪੋਰਟ ਵੈਸਲ (ਡੀਐਸਵੀ) ਆਈਐਨਐਸ ਨਿਸਤਾਰ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ § ਅਭਿਆਸ ਵਿੱਚ 40 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੇਸ਼ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣਗੇ।

Akash Air Defence System / ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਏਅਰ ਡਿਫੈਂਸ ਸਿਸਟਮ

  • ▪ Altitude Coverage: 100 m to 20 km
  • ▪ Speed: Supersonic (Mach 1.8 to 2.5)
  • Developed By: Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), in collaboration with Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) under the Make in India initiative
  • Ahead of the 17th BRICS Summit, Brazil has expressed interest in purchasing India’s Akash Air Defence System, following its successful deployment in Operation Sindoor.
  • Akash is a medium-range, mobile surface-to-air missile (SAM) system developed to neutralize aerial threats in both defensive and offensive operations.
