- The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has introduced the latest version of its structural analysis software, Finite Element Analysis of Structures (FEAST) 2025, at the 8th National Finite Element Developers’/FEAST Users’ Meet (NAFED08) held at IIT Hyderabad.
- The event, organized in collaboration with Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), brought together over 250 experts from academia, industry, and research institutions to discuss advancements in finite element-based structural analysis.
- It is designed to predict how structures react to real-world forces like stress, strain, and temperature variations.

- The Union Cabinet has given its approval for the construction of the third launch pad of the Indian Space Research organisation (ISRO) which will be equipped to launch the future human space flight of ISRO and its next generation rockets.
- The launch pad will be constructed at the existing Space port of India-Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota,Andhra Pradesh. The Satish Dhawan Space center already has two functional launch pads from where rockets are launched in space.
- The government of India has approved a budget of Rs 3984.86 crore. The project is expected to be completed within 48 months or 4 years.

- Two Fast Patrol Vessels (FPVs) - Amulya and Akshay - indigenously designed and constructed by the Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) for the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) were launched
