- Indian Navy has received ‘Anjadip’, the third of eight Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW SWC), delivered at Chennai.
- The vessel is indigenously designed and built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers, Kolkata, under a PPP model with L&T Shipyard Kattupalli, in accordance with Indian Register of Shipping rules.
- Naming: ‘Anjadip’ is named after Anjadip Island and is the reincarnation of the earlier Petya-class INS Anjadip, which was decommissioned in 2003.
- Specifications: Approximately 77 metres long, it is among the largest Indian warships equipped with waterjet propulsion.

- The Indian Navy will commission its second MH-60R helicopter squadron, INAS 335 (Ospreys), on 17 December 2025 at INS Hansa, Goa, in the presence of Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi.
- The MH-60R is a versatile multi-role helicopter platform capable of addressing both conventional and asymmetric threats.
- The Indian Navy commissioned its first squadron of MH-60R helicopters on 6 March last year at Kochi.

- An Indian Army contingent has departed for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in the second edition of the India–UAE Joint Military Exercise DESERT CYCLONE-II, scheduled to be conducted at Abu Dhabi, UAE, from 18 to 30 December 2025.
- The Indian contingent comprises 45 personnel, primarily from a battalion of The Mechanised Infantry Regiment.
- The UAE Land Forces contingent will be represented by the 53 Mechanised Infantry Battalion.
- The inaugural edition of the joint military exercise “Desert Cyclone” was held in 2024.
- Exercise ‘Zayed Talwar’ is a bilateral naval maritime partnership exercise with the UAE Navy, aimed at enhancing interoperability and synergy between the Indian Navy and the UAE Navy.
