Nirmal Kumar Minda, Executive Chairman of Uno Minda Group, has been appointed President of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM).
Amitabh Chaudhry, MD and CEO of Axis Bank, has been named Senior Vice-President, subject to RBI approval. The announcement was made on October 17, 2025.
ASSOCHAM, which stands for the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India, is one of the oldest and largest non-governmental trade associations and advocacy groups in India.
It was founded in 1920 by a group of chambers of commerce to protect and promote the interests of Indian trade and industry.
