- The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) announced that India will host the 89th General Meeting (GM) of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) from 15 to 19 September 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
- Established in 1906, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is the world’s leading body for developing international standards for electrical, electronic and related technologies, with a network of 30,000 experts worldwide.

ਬਿਊਰੋ ਆਫ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਸਟੈਂਡਰਡਜ਼ (ਬੀਆਈਐਸ) ਨੇ ਘੋਸ਼ਣਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ 15 ਤੋਂ 19 ਸਤੰਬਰ 2025 ਤੱਕ ਭਾਰਤ ਮੰਡਪਮ, ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰੋਟੈਕਨੀਕਲ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ (ਆਈਈਸੀ) ਦੀ 89 ਵੀਂ ਜਨਰਲ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ (ਜੀਐਮ) ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ।

The Collegium has recommended, Justice Soumen Sen, as Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court.
Justice P.B. Bajanthri, who is currently the Acting Chief Justice of Patna High Court, was recommended to be appointed its regular Chief Justice.
Justice M. Sundar, was recommended as the Chief Justice of Manipur High Court

- Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat has been given the additional charge of Maharashtra after former Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan demitted office after being elected as the Vice-President of India.
- Mr. Devvrat is Governor of Gujarat since 2019.
