BDU Professor Wins TANSA Award for Environmental Science ਬੀਡੀਯੂ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਨੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਲਈ ਟੈਂਸਾ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ
- The award was won by Prof. R. Arthur James, who is Professor and Chair of the Department of Marine Science at Bharathidasan University (BDU).
- He has received the TANSA Award 2022 in the discipline of Environmental Science, in recognition of his significant contributions to marine research and environmental science
- The TANSA award is instituted by the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science & Technology (TANSCST).
- ਇਹ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਆਰਥਰ ਜੇਮਜ਼ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ, ਜੋ ਭਾਰਤੀਦਾਸਨ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ (ਬੀਡੀਯੂ) ਦੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਚੇਅਰ ਹਨ।
- ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਖੋਜ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੈਂਸਾ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ 2022 ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ
- ਤੈਂਸਾ ਅਵਾਰਡ ਤਾਮਿਲਨਾਡੂ ਸਟੇਟ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਫਾਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਐਂਡ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ (ਟੀਏਐਨਐਸਸੀਐਸਟੀ) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
