NASA launches IMAP mission to understand the Sun, solar wind, and interstellar particles / ਨਾਸਾ ਨੇ ਸੂਰਜ, ਸੂਰਜੀ ਹਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਇੰਟਰਸਟੇਲਰ ਕਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਲਈ ਆਈਐਮਏਪੀ ਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਲਾਂਚ ਕੀਤਾ
- The Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP) is a NASA heliophysics mission designed to study the heliosphere, the giant protective bubble of plasma and magnetic fields created by the sun that surrounds our solar system.
- The mission launched on September 24, 2025, from NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
- Location:
- At L1 (Earth–Sun Lagrange Point) → ~1 million miles from Earth.
