Delhi HC judge becomes first Indian to chair WIPO advisory board of judges / ਦਿੱਲੀ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਜੱਜ ਡਬਲਯੂਆਈਪੀਓ ਦੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਆਫ਼ ਜੱਜ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਬਣ ਗਏ
- Delhi High Court Justice Prathiba M. Singh has become the first Indian to chair the World Intellectual Property Organization's (WIPO) Advisory Board of Judges.
- She was appointed for the 2025–2027 term.
- The appointment marks a major acknowledgment of India's growing expertise in global intellectual property (IP) jurisprudence.
- ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ— ਦਿੱਲੀ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਦੀ ਜੱਜ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਬੌਧਿਕ ਸੰਪਤੀ ਸੰਗਠਨ (ਡਬਲਿਊਆਈਪੀਓ) ਦੇ ਜੱਜਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਬੋਰਡ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਬਣ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
- ਉਸ ਨੂੰ 2025-2027 ਦੇ ਕਾਰਜਕਾਲ ਲਈ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
- ਇਹ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਬੌਧਿਕ ਸੰਪਤੀ (ਆਈਪੀ) ਨਿਆਂ-ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਵਧ ਰਹੀ ਮੁਹਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਹੈ।
