The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is the largest and oldest apex business organization in India.
Founded in 1927 by entrepreneurs G.D. Birla and Purshottamdas Thakurdas on the advice of Mahatma Gandhi, it is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization headquartered in New Delhi.

1927 ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਦਮੀ ਜੀ.ਡੀ. ਬਿਰਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ੋਤਮਦਾਸ ਠਾਕੁਰਦਾਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ 'ਤੇ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਗੈਰ-ਸਰਕਾਰੀ, ਗੈਰ-ਮੁਨਾਫ਼ਾ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਦਫਤਰ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ।
