The first Joint Defence Cooperation meeting between India and Ethiopia held in New Delhi / ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਇਥੋਪੀਆ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ
- The inaugural meeting marked a significant step toward expanding and strengthening the bilateral defense relationship between the two countries.
- The JDC meeting is part of a framework for exchanges and dialogue established by an MoU signed by the defense ministers of India and Ethiopia earlier in 2025.
- This meeting also occurred during a UN Troop Contributing Countries (UNTCC) Chiefs' Conclave hosted by India.
- ਉਦਘਾਟਨੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਦੁਵੱਲੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ ਵੱਲ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਕਦਮ ਹੈ।
- ਜੇਡੀਸੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ 2025 ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਇਥੋਪੀਆ ਦੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਅਦਾਨ-ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ।
- ਇਹ ਬੈਠਕ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨੀ 'ਚ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਫੌਜੀ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ (ਯੂ.ਐੱਨ.ਟੀ.ਸੀ.ਸੀ.) ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਮੇਲਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵੀ ਹੋਈ।
