India ranks last in Global Pension Index 2025 with D grade, lags behind even Indonesia, Thailand / ਗਲੋਬਲ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨ ਇੰਡੈਕਸ 2025 ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਡੀ ਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਥਾਨ 'ਤੇ ਹੈ, ਇੰਡੋਨੇਸ਼ੀਆ, ਥਾਈਲੈਂਡ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਹੈ
- The Mercer CFA Institute - Global Pension Index 2025, released in October 2025, benchmarks the retirement income systems of 52 countries.
- India ranked last on the index, receiving a D-grade with an overall score of 43.8 alongside Türkiye, the Philippines, Thailand, and Argentina.
- The countries with the highest-ranked pension systems, all receiving an A-grade, were:
- 1.Netherlands: Scored 85.4,
- 2.Iceland: Scored 84.0.
- 3.Denmark: Scored 82.3.
- 4.Singapore: Scored 80.8, becoming the first Asian country to achieve an A-grade.
- ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 2025 ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਮਰਸਰ ਸੀਐੱਫਏ ਇੰਸਟੀਟਿਊਟ - ਗਲੋਬਲ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨ ਇੰਡੈਕਸ 2025, 52 ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਟਾਇਰਮੈਂਟ ਆਮਦਨ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਪਦੰਡ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
- ਤੁਰਕੀਏ, ਫਿਲੀਪੀਨਜ਼, ਥਾਈਲੈਂਡ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਜਨਟੀਨਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ 43.8 ਦੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਸਕੋਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਡੀ-ਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸੂਚਕਾਂਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਥਾਨ 'ਤੇ ਰਿਹਾ।
- ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚ-ਦਰਜਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਪੈਨਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇਸ਼, ਸਾਰੇ ਏ-ਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਨ:
- ਨੀਦਰਲੈਂਡਜ਼: 85.4 ਸਕੋਰ,
- ਆਈਸਲੈਂਡ: 84.0 ਸਕੋਰ ਕੀਤਾ.
- ਡੈਨਮਾਰਕ: 82.3 ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ.
- ਸਿੰਗਾਪੁਰ: 80.8 ਅੰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਏ-ਗ੍ਰੇਡ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਏਸ਼ੀਆਈ ਦੇਸ਼ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।
