8ਵੀਂ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸੋਲਰ ਅਲਾਇੰਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਈ INDIA TO HOST THE 8TH INTERNATIONAL SOLAR ALLIANCE ASSEMBLY
- Held at Bharat Mandapam, the event brings together 124 member and signatory countries to advance global solar action.
- The assembly reinforcing the vision of "One Sun, One Vision, One Shared Commitment".
- The assembly will see the release of ISA's flagship publications, Ease of Doing Solar 2025 and Solar Trends 2025, which provide insight into global progress and strategies for scaling solar adoption.
- India currently ranks third globally in solar power generation and fourth in renewable energy installed capacity.
- ISA Director-General Ashish Khanna stated that the organization would welcome China as a member, acknowledging its position as the world's largest solar power market.

- The ISA was jointly launched by India and France on November 30, 2015, during the COP21 summit in Paris.

- ਆਈਐਸਏ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਜਨਰਲ ਆਸ਼ੀਸ਼ ਖੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਸੌਰ ਊਰਜਾ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਚੀਨ ਦਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
- ਆਈਐੱਸਏ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਫਰਾਂਸ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ 30 ਨਵੰਬਰ, 2015 ਨੂੰ ਪੈਰਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਓਪੀ21 ਸੰਮੇਲਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਲਾਂਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

- ਕੁੱਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ, 124 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।
- 107 ਵਾਂ ਮੈਂਬਰ (ਅਗਸਤ 2025): ਮੋਲਡੋਵਾ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ.
- 123 ਵਾਂ ਮੈਂਬਰ (ਮਈ 2025): ਅੰਗੋਲਾ ਫਰੇਮਵਰਕ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਦਾ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ.
- 106 ਵਾਂ ਮੈਂਬਰ (ਨਵੰਬਰ 2023): ਅਰਮੀਨੀਆ ਇੱਕ ਪੂਰਾ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ.
