HAL signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a Russian firm for the production of SJ-100 civil aircraft in India / ਐੱਚਏਐੱਲ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਐੱਸਜੇ-100 ਸਿਵਲ ਏਅਰਕ੍ਰਾਫਟ ਦੇ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਰੂਸੀ ਫਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿਮਤੀ ਪੱਤਰ 'ਤੇ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕੀਤੇ
- Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Russia's Public Joint Stock Company United Aircraft Corporation (PJSC-UAC) for the licensed production of the SJ-100 civil aircraft in India.
- The SJ-100 is a twin-engine, narrow-body regional jet designed for short-haul routes.
- The project aligns with the Indian government's 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' (self-reliant India) initiative and the UDAN scheme, aimed at enhancing regional air connectivity and boosting indigenous aerospace manufacturing and employment.
- To manufacture the complete SJ-100 civil commuter aircraft in India for domestic customers, marking the country's first full passenger aircraft production since the AVRO HS-748 program (1961–1988).
- ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਨ ਏਅਰੋਨਾਟਿਕਸ ਲਿਮਟਿਡ (ਐਚਏਐਲ) ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਸਜੇ -100 ਸਿਵਲ ਜਹਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸਸ਼ੁਦਾ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਲਈ ਰੂਸ ਦੀ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਜੁਆਇੰਟ ਸਟਾਕ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਯੂਨਾਈਟਿਡ ਏਅਰਕ੍ਰਾਫਟ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਸ਼ਨ (ਪੀਜੇਐਸਸੀ-ਯੂਏਸੀ) ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ 'ਤੇ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।
- ਐਸਜੇ -100 ਇੱਕ ਟਵਿਨ-ਇੰਜਣ, ਤੰਗ-ਸਰੀਰ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਜੈੱਟ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਥੋੜ੍ਹੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਟਾਂ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ.

- ਘਰੇਲੂ ਗਾਹਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਐਸਜੇ -100 ਸਿਵਲ ਕਮਿਊਟਰ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਕਰਨਾ, ਏਵੀਆਰਓ ਐਚਐਸ -748 ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ (1961-1988) ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਜਹਾਜ਼ ਉਤਪਾਦਨ ਹੈ।
