Parumala Perunnal festival celebrated in Kerala / ਕੇਰਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰੂਮਾਲਾ ਪੇਰੂਨਲ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ
- The Parumala Perunnal is an annual festival celebrated at the Parumala Church in the Pathanamthitta district of Kerala.
- It is a week-long Christian festival that culminates on November 2nd, the commemorative feast day of Saint Gregorios of Parumala, also known as Parumala Thirumeni.
- The festival honors Geevarghese Mar Gregorios, the first canonized saint of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church , who passed away in 1902 at the age of 54.

- ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਹਫ਼ਤਾ ਚਲਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਈਸਾਈ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਹੈ ਜੋ 2 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਰੂਮਾਲਾ ਦੇ ਸੇਂਟ ਗ੍ਰੇਗੋਰੀਓਸ ਦੇ ਯਾਦਗਾਰੀ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੂਮਾਲਾ ਥਿਰੂਮੇਨੀ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
- ਇਹ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਮਲੰਕਾਰਾ ਆਰਥੋਡਾਕਸ ਸੀਰੀਅਨ ਚਰਚ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸੰਤ ਗੀਵਰਗੀਜ਼ ਮਾਰ ਗ੍ਰੇਗੋਰੀਓਸ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ 1902 ਵਿੱਚ 54 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਹਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
