INS Gomati to Become Centrepiece of Naval Shaurya Museum in Lucknow / ਆਈ ਐੱਨ ਐੱਸ ਗੋਮਤੀ ਲਖਨਊ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੇਵਲ ਸ਼ੌਰਿਆ ਅਜਾਇਬ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਿੰਦੂ ਬਣੇਗਾ
The event aims to operationalize India's "MAHASAGAR" vision ("Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security and Growth Across Regions").
The biennial exercise began in 1995 with the navies of four countries: Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
The Naval Shaurya Museum is an upcoming landmark in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and will be the first landlocked naval museum in India.
The museum is under construction and is expected to open by 2026. It aims to preserve and showcase the valor and history of the Indian Navy.
The museum will be equipped with modern technology to provide an immersive experience.

Centrepiece: Relics and key components of the INS Gomati, a Godavari-class guided-missile frigate that served the Navy for 34 years (1988-2022), will be displayed.
The complex will include an Interpretation Centre and an Open-Air Museum called the Naval Shaurya Vatika.
