SBI became India's first public sector bank to cross a total business of 100 billion dollars / ਐਸਬੀਆਈ 100 ਬਿਲੀਅਨ ਡਾਲਰ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਜਨਤਕ ਖੇਤਰ ਦਾ ਬੈਂਕ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ
- The State Bank of India (SBI) achieved a historic dual milestone in November 2025, following the announcement of its Q2 FY26 financial results:
- It places SBI in an elite group of Indian companies with a valuation exceeding $100 billion, alongside Reliance Industries, HDFC Bank, and TCS.
- Market Capitalization: SBI became the first public sector bank (PSB) in India to cross the $100 Billion (USD) market capitalization mark.
- Total Business: Its total business (the sum of deposits and advances/loans) surpassed ₹100 Lakh Crore (₹100 Trillion) for the first time.
- ਸਟੇਟ ਬੈਂਕ ਆਫ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ (ਐਸਬੀਆਈ) ਨੇ ਨਵੰਬਰ 2025 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ Q2 FY26 ਦੇ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਨਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਘੋਸ਼ਣਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਇੱਕ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਦੋਹਰੇ ਮੀਲ ਪੱਥਰ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ:
- ਇਹ ਰਿਲਾਇੰਸ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀਜ਼, ਐਚਡੀਐਫਸੀ ਬੈਂਕ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਸੀਐਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਐਸਬੀਆਈ ਨੂੰ 100 ਬਿਲੀਅਨ ਡਾਲਰ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੇ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਕੁਲੀਨ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
- ਮਾਰਕੀਟ ਕੈਪੀਟਲਾਈਜ਼ੇਸ਼ਨ: ਐਸਬੀਆਈ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਜਨਤਕ ਖੇਤਰ ਦਾ ਬੈਂਕ (ਪੀਐਸਬੀ) ਬਣ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ 100 ਬਿਲੀਅਨ ਡਾਲਰ (ਡਾਲਰ) ਦੇ ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰ ਪੂੰਜੀਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਅੰਕੜੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
- ਕੁੱਲ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ: ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕੁੱਲ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ (ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਕਮ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਸ਼ਗੀ / ਕਰਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਜੋੜ) ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ 100 ਲੱਖ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ (100 ਟ੍ਰਿਲੀਅਨ ਰੁਪਏ) ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਗਿਆ.
