- UNESCO and India have launched a transformative initiative in South Sudan focused on strengthening the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) ecosystem.
- The main goal is to improve the quality, relevance, and market-responsiveness of TVET in South Sudan by leveraging the successful Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model pioneered in India.

- ਯੂਨੈਸਕੋ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਨੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਸੂਡਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿੱਤਾਮੁਖੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ (ਟੀਵੀਈਟੀ) ਈਕੋਸਿਸਟਮ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਨ 'ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰਤ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਪਹਿਲ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
- ਇਸ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਟੀਚਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਜਨਤਕ-ਨਿਜੀ ਭਾਈਵਾਲੀ (ਪੀਪੀਪੀ) ਮਾਡਲ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਉਠਾ ਕੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਸੂਡਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੀਵੀਈਟੀ ਦੀ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ, ਪ੍ਰਸੰਗਿਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ਾਰ-ਜਵਾਬਦੇਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।
- ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਸੂਡਾਨ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਫਲ ਹੁਨਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਦੇਣਾ ਹੈ।
- ਦੱਖਣੀ ਸੂਡਾਨ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਉਮਰ ਦੀ ਆਬਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਉੱਚ ਬੇਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਖੰਡਿਤ ਟੀਵੀਈਟੀ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਲੀ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
