Space Kidz India unveiled India's first electric rocket 'Vayuputra’ / ਸਪੇਸ ਕਿਡਜ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਰਾਕੇਟ 'ਵਾਯੂਪੁੱਤਰ' ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ
- Chennai-based aerospace start-up Space Kidz India has unveiled 'Vayuputhra', which is being called India's first electric-powered, zero-emission rocket.
- It is crafted using 3D printing with carbon fiber and biodegradable plastic, contributing to a lightweight and precise structure.
- The battery cost per launch is reportedly just ₹25.
- It is powered by in-house designed brushless DC motors and runs on electricity, making it an eco-friendly alternative to conventional rockets that use solid fuels and produce high emissions.
- It is designed for low-altitude research, capable of reaching an altitude of up to 6 km.
- ਚੇਨਈ ਸਥਿਤ ਏਅਰੋਸਪੇਸ ਸਟਾਰਟ-ਅੱਪ ਸਪੇਸ ਕਿਡਜ਼ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨੇ 'ਵਾਯੂਪੁੱਤਰ' ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਿਕ ਸੰਚਾਲਿਤ, ਜ਼ੀਰੋ-ਨਿਕਾਸ ਰਾਕੇਟ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
- ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਰਬਨ ਫਾਈਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਇਓਡੀਗ੍ਰੇਡੇਬਲ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ 3ਡੀ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਹਲਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਹੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
- ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਲਾਂਚ ਬੈਟਰੀ ਦੀ ਕੀਮਤ ਸਿਰਫ 25 ਰੁਪਏ ਹੈ।
- ਇਹ ਇਨ-ਹਾਊਸ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਰੱਸ਼ ਰਹਿਤ ਡੀਸੀ ਮੋਟਰਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸੰਚਾਲਿਤ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਰਾਕੇਟਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ-ਅਨੁਕੂਲ ਵਿਕਲਪ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਠੋਸ ਬਾਲਣ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚ ਨਿਕਾਸ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
- ਇਹ ਘੱਟ ਉਚਾਈ 'ਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜੋ 6 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੀ ਉਚਾਈ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਦੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਹੈ।
