25 November International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women/ 25 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਦੇ ਖਾਤਮੇ ਲਈ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਦਿਵਸ
- THEME: For 2025, the global theme is “UNiTE to End Digital Violence against All Women and Girls”.
- On 7 February 2000, the General Assembly adopts resolution 54/134, officially designating 25 November as the International day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
- The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women will mark the launch of the UNiTE campaign (Nov 25-Dec 10) — an initiative of 16 days of activism concluding on the day that commemorates the International Human Rights Day (10 December).
- ਥੀਮ: 2025 ਲਈ, ਗਲੋਬਲ ਥੀਮ "ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕਜੁੱਟ" ਹੈ।
- 7 ਫਰਵਰੀ 2000 ਨੂੰ, ਜਨਰਲ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ ਨੇ ਮਤਾ 54/134 ਅਪਣਾਇਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ 25 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਦੇ ਖਾਤਮੇ ਲਈ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਦਿਵਸ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਨੋਨੀਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
- ਔਰਤਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਦੇ ਖਾਤਮੇ ਲਈ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਦਿਵਸ UNiTE ਮੁਹਿੰਮ (25 ਨਵੰਬਰ-10 ਦਸੰਬਰ) ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ - 16 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਗਰਮੀ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਹਿਲ ਜੋ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਦਿਵਸ (10 ਦਸੰਬਰ) ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਸਮਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
