Centre set to Table The Higher Education Commission of India (HECI) Bill 2025 / ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ (HECI) ਬਿੱਲ 2025 ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ
- Creates single regulator for higher education (except medical & legal).
- Merges roles of University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)
- ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ (ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ) ਲਈ ਸਿੰਗਲ ਰੈਗੂਲੇਟਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
- ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਗ੍ਰਾਂਟਸ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ (UGC), ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਫਾਰ ਟੈਕਨੀਕਲ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ (AICTE), ਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਫਾਰ ਟੀਚਰ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ (NCTE) ਦੀਆਂ ਭੂਮਿਕਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।
