• Recently, the Defence Research and Development Organisation has handed over seven technologies developed under the Technology Development Fund (TDF) scheme to armed forces.

       About Technology Development Fund (TDF) Scheme

• It has been established to promote self-reliance in Defence Technology as a part of the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
• It encourages the participation of public/private industries, especially MSMEs and startups, so as to create an ecosystem for enhancing cutting-edge technology capability in the defence sector.
•  Nodal Ministry: Ministry of Defence.

            Funding :

• Project cost eligible: Up to ₹50 crore ;
• Funding share: Up to 90% of project cost ;
• Project duration: Max 4 years
• ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ, ਰੱਖਿਆ ਖੋਜ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਨੇ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਫੰਡ (TDF) ਸਕੀਮ ਅਧੀਨ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਸੱਤ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀਆਂ ਹਥਿਆਰਬੰਦ ਬਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

       ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਫੰਡ (TDF) ਸਕੀਮ ਬਾਰੇ

•   ਇਸਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ 'ਮੇਕ ਇਨ ਇੰਡੀਆ' ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵੈ-ਨਿਰਭਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
•  ਇਹ ਜਨਤਕ/ਨਿੱਜੀ ਉਦਯੋਗਾਂ, ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ MSMEs ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਰਟਅੱਪਸ ਦੀ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤਿ-ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਤਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਈਕੋਸਿਸਟਮ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ/
•  ਨੋਡਲ ਮੰਤਰਾਲਾ: ਰੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰਾਲਾ।

            ਫੰਡਿੰਗ

• :ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੀ ਯੋਗ ਲਾਗਤ: ₹50 ਕਰੋੜ ਤੱਕ;
• ਫੰਡਿੰਗ ਹਿੱਸਾ: ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਦਾ 90% ਤੱਕ;
• ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੀ ਮਿਆਦ: ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ 4 ਸਾਲ
