About Exercise Ekatha 2025

• Established in 2017, Exercise Ekatha is an annual bilateral maritime exercise between the Indian Navy and the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF).
• It aims to enhance bilateral maritime cooperation, and 2025 marks its eighth edition.
• The exercise involved a series of professional interactions designed to boost interoperability and operational collaboration between the two navies.
• ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਦੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਚੀਫ਼ ਆਫ਼ ਦ ਨੇਵਲ ਸਟਾਫ਼ (DCNS) ਐਕਸ ਏਕਾਥਾ 2025 ਦੇ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਮਾਲਦੀਵ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਦੌਰੇ 'ਤੇ ਹਨ।

ਅਭਿਆਸ ਏਕਾਥਾ 2025 ਬਾਰੇ

• 2017 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ, ਅਭਿਆਸ ਏਕਾਥਾ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਲਦੀਵਜ਼ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਲ (MNDF) ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਦੁਵੱਲਾ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਹੈ।
• ਇਸਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਦੁਵੱਲੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰੀ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ 2025 ਇਸਦਾ ਅੱਠਵਾਂ ਐਡੀਸ਼ਨ ਹੈ।
• ਇਸ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਜਲ ਸੈਨਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਅੰਤਰ-ਕਾਰਜਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਪੇਸ਼ੇਵਰ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਲੜੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸੀ।
