The theme of the conference was “Human Capital for Viksit Bharat.”

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 5th National Conference of Chief Secretaries in New Delhi.
• The conference aims to strengthen Centre–State cooperation through structured dialogue on key national development priorities.
• Under the main theme, discussions placed special emphasis on five identified areas—Early Childhood Education, Schooling, Skilling, Higher Education, and Sports and Extracurricular Activities.
• The National Conference of Chief Secretaries has been organised annually for the past four years. The first edition was held in Dharamshala in June 2022, followed by conferences in New Delhi in January 2023, December 2023, and December 2024.

• ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਮੁੱਖ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਤਰਜੀਹਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਢਾਂਚਾਗਤ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਕੇਂਦਰ-ਰਾਜ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ​​ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।
• ਮੁੱਖ ਥੀਮ ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ, ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜ ਪਛਾਣੇ ਗਏ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ - ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਬਚਪਨ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਸਕੂਲਿੰਗ, ਹੁਨਰ, ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਠਕ੍ਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰਲੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
• ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸੰਮੇਲਨ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਚਾਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਹਿਲਾ ਐਡੀਸ਼ਨ ਜੂਨ 2022 ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਮਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਜਨਵਰੀ 2023, ਦਸੰਬਰ 2023 ਅਤੇ ਦਸੰਬਰ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸਾਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ।
