• ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦੱਸਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ 25% ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਸੀਮਾਂਤ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਸਹਿਕਾਰੀ ਸਭਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
• ਅਧਿਐਨ ਸੀਮਾਂਤ ਕਿਸਾਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਿਕਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਹਿਕਾਰੀ ਸਭਾਵਾਂ ਗਰੀਬੀ ਘਟਾਉਣ, ਰੋਜ਼ੀ-ਰੋਟੀ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨ ਲਈ ਉਤਪ੍ਰੇਰਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

• ਸੀਮਾਂਤ ਕਿਸਾਨ (1 ਹੈਕਟੇਅਰ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ): 65.4% ਕਿਸਾਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਸਿਰਫ 24% ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਹੈ।
• ਉਹ ਕਰਜ਼ੇ, ਇਨਪੁਟਸ, ਬਾਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਮਾੜੀ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
