Deepti Sharma breaks multiple records in international cricket / ਦੀਪਤੀ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਤੋੜੇ
- Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma broke multiple records during the third T20 against Sri Lanka in Thiruvananthapuram.
- With figures of 3 for 18, she surpassed Australian legend Ellyse Perry to become the third-highest wicket-taker in women’s international cricket, with 333 wickets overall.
- In T20Is, Deepti became the first Indian across men’s and women’s cricket to reach 150 wickets, equalling Australia’s Megan Schutt with 151 wickets.
- She also became the first cricketer to achieve the milestone of 1,000 runs and 150 wickets in T20Is.
- In ODIs, Deepti has taken 162 wickets, making her India’s second-highest wicket-taker after Jhulan Goswami.
