Bhutan’s Sonam Yeshey sets T20 world record, becomes first player to take 8-wicket haul/ ਭੂਟਾਨ ਦੀ ਸੋਨਮ ਯੇਸ਼ੇ ਨੇ ਟੀ-20 ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕਾਇਮ ਕੀਤਾ, 8 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਖਿਡਾਰਨ ਬਣੀ
- Bhutan spinner Sonam Yeshey created history by becoming the first bowler to take eight wickets in a men’s T20 International match.
- No bowler had previously taken an eight-wicket haul in any T20 match, either international or domestic.
- The earlier best bowling figures in T20 Internationals were held by Malaysia pacer Syazrul Idrus, who took 7 for 8 against China in 2023.
- ਭੂਟਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਪਿਨਰ ਸੋਨਮ ਯੇਸ਼ੇ ਨੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਟੀ-20 ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਠ ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਰਚਿਆ।
- ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਟੀ-20 ਮੈਚ ਵਿੱਚ, ਚਾਹੇ ਉਹ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਜਾਂ ਘਰੇਲੂ, ਅੱਠ ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
- ਟੀ-20 ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਮੈਚਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਧੀਆ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਕੜੇ ਮਲੇਸ਼ੀਆ ਦੇ ਤੇਜ਼ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ ਸਯਾਜ਼ਰੁਲ ਇਦਰਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਚੀਨ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ 8 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੇ 7 ਵਿਕਟਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
