Union Minister Piyush Goyal announced zero-duty on 100% Australian tariff lines from 01 January, 2026\ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪਿਊਸ਼ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ 01 ਜਨਵਰੀ, 2026 ਤੋਂ 100% ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆਈ ਟੈਰਿਫ ਲਾਈਨਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ-ਡਿਊਟੀ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
- Piyush Goyal, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, announced that Australia will impose zero customs duty on 100% of its tariff lines for Indian exports from 1 January 2026.
- This major step is part of the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement, aimed at deepening economic ties and boosting India’s exports to Australia.
- ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਵਣਜ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪਿਊਸ਼ ਗੋਇਲ ਨੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ 1 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2026 ਤੋਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਿਰਯਾਤ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਟੈਰਿਫ ਲਾਈਨਾਂ ਦੇ 100% 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ ਕਸਟਮ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਲਗਾਏਗਾ।
- ਇਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਕਦਮ ਭਾਰਤ-ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਸਟ੍ਰੇਲੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਯਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ।
