Delhi Government Signs Agreement with RBI to Manage Borrowing and Cash Flow)/ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵ ਬੈਂਕ ਨਾਲ ਉਧਾਰ ਲੈਣ ਅਤੇ ਨਕਦੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ 'ਤੇ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਕੀਤੇ
- The Delhi government has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Reserve Bank of India, enabling the central bank to function as the banker, debt manager and financial agent of the government.
- For the first time, Delhi will operate under the RBI’s complete banking, cash management and debt management framework, aligning its finances with nationally accepted fiscal practices.
- ਦਿੱਲੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵ ਬੈਂਕ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਪੱਤਰ (ਐਮਓਯੂ) 'ਤੇ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਬੈਂਕ ਨੂੰ ਬੈਂਕਰ, ਕਰਜ਼ਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਏਜੰਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
