Guntur to Host National SARAS Mela 2026 / ਗੁੰਟੂਰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਰਸ ਮੇਲਾ 2026 ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ
- Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, will host the National-level SARAS Mela 2026 from 6 January to 18 January 2026.
- SARAS Melas are a flagship initiative focused on the economic empowerment of women Self-Help Group (SHG) members by promoting sustainable livelihoods and entrepreneurship.
- As a National SARAS event, SARAS–2026 will bring together around 300 women artisans and entrepreneurs from 21 States and Union Territories, providing them with national-level exposure and enhanced market access.
- ਆਂਧਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਗੁੰਟੂਰ 6 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਤੋਂ 18 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2026 ਤੱਕ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦਾ ਸਰਸ ਮੇਲਾ 2026 ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
- ਸਰਸ ਮੇਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਟਿਕਾਊ ਰੋਜ਼ੀ-ਰੋਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਦਮਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਸਵੈ-ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਸਮੂਹ (SHG) ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ 'ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰਿਤ ਹੈ।
- ਇੱਕ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਰਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਰਸ-2026 21 ਰਾਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਗਭਗ 300 ਮਹਿਲਾ ਕਾਰੀਗਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦਾ ਐਕਸਪੋਜ਼ਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਧੀ ਹੋਈ ਮਾਰਕੀਟ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
