IIT-Madras secures top spot in NIRF Rankings 2025 for seventh year in a row
- The Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, released the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025, which annually lists the top-performing universities, colleges, and institutes in India.
- This year’s rankings have been released across 17 categories
- According to the NIRF Rankings 2025 released on September 4, 2025, Panjab University achieved the following ranks:
- Overall: 57th position
- Universities: 35th position
- Pharmacy: 3rd position
